Description
The 7 Nins®-acorns in 7 colors are associated with each day of the week according to Waldorf pedagogy. The 7 vessels and 1 round dish is where the elements are contained. This set is to experience the weekly cyclic rhythm. The children will associate each day with their color, and in this way they will be able to understand the passage of the days. Many ancient cultures believed that every day of the week had it’s own planet, color, scent and grain. Then, these ideas were applied by Waldorf pedagogies.

Monday: moon, rice, purple or violet, jasmine.
Tuesday: Mars, red, Barley, clove.
Wednesday, Mercury, Millet, yellow, copal.
Thursday, Jupiter, rye, orange, cedar
Friday: Venus, oats, green, rose
Saturday: Saturn, corn, indigo or blue, myrrh.
Sunday: sun, wheat, white, frankincense

Natural Features
Handmade with wood from sustainable forests.

The dyes are based on water and non-toxic that comply with the European safety regulations of the Toy EN 71-1:2014+A1:2018, EN 71-2:2011+A1:2014, EN 71-3:2019, in USA ASTM 963 and also in Australia with ISO 8124.

Product Care
For care or cleaning of the parts, they must be in a dry place, can be wiped with a damp cloth and dry immediately. The pieces should not be submerged in water nor should disinfectant be used.
