Sustainable Kids Watches
Mini Kyomo makes watches specially for kids, produced in Italy with Japanese techniques. Mini Kyomo was founded by a mother on the idea that children deserve the same sense of style offered to adults, available in wearable and durable options. Mini Kyomo understands that it is just as important for kids to express themselves with their style as it is for adults.
Today, children have a hard time learning how to tell time, since time is often
represented in a digital manner, as opposed to analog representation. Analog watches can teach a child skills that a digital watch cannot, including math proficiency and time management skills. Mini Kyomo watches support adventure, play and independence.
Mini Kyomo watches are produced in Italy replacing conventional materials with more sustainable ones that have a lower impact on both nature and human health. The straps contain OEKO-TEX® and GRS certified ‘simil-nylon’ yarn made of 10% upcycled Marine Plastic (from plastic marine litter) and a remaining up to 90% of post-consumer PET from land sources. The watch cases use Thermoplastics that contain up to 90% recycled scrap coming mostly from recycled computers and cars.
